Yes, they actually are. Unlike the many who have copied from others and changed a few things. We have stayed original.

Most of our ideas don't make good business sense on paper. But if it makes sense on paper, it often fails in the real world. We do what we do for our clients, and to make their lives that bit less complicated. If we just wanted money, we'd be using that well-trodden path.

If We Weren't Original.

You wouldn't be reading this. This link would've taken you to a boring legal notice warning you not to steal. But you're on our website, and you seem like a decent sort, so we'll skip the warning, for now at least.

Don't go thieving our words, ideas, or anything we made before you got here.

If you're in the same business as us, get in touch. We'll hand over a dozen ideas we've never tried, just nothing that's live on our own website.

Stay Original.

Stop trying to be like everyone else. If everyone else is doing it, there's room to do it another way. You may accidentally make it better. Not the same.

Look at what you're not happy with as a customer and ask: do I like this? Would I buy this? Would I leave a review for it?

Better still, look at what others do well and say could we do that, only better.

Everyone's so busy trying to blend in. Who wants to buy that?

While we think you look like a decent person, we can never be sure of your intentions. We need to say this, because we don't know if you're naive, stupid, or some kind of chancer. So let's get the full legal disclaimer out of the way about our material. What it covers, and what you can share.

Sharing a page from our website is different from taking something off it and calling it yours. We do pay attention to petty theft.

What you can do with it: Share a link to a page. Quote a short bit and credit us. Tell your mate about the Leap Year Guarantee down the pub. All fine.

What you can't do with it: Copy our copy. Rebuild our pages under your own name. Lift our guarantee names, our pricing structure, or our way of explaining things, and pass it off as your own idea. That's not flattery, that's theft, and we treat it as such.

If you're a fellow web designer: We meant what we said above. Ask us first. We'd rather hand you a fresh idea than watch you copy our ideas, badly.

If you copy us anyway: We'll notice. We built this business on being different, so copies stand out to us more than most. We reserve the right to take whatever action protects our work, including formal legal steps, without further warning.
